As Director of Managed Services in EMEA for a global technology company, I led a remote team of over 100 skilled FTE delivering an industry-leading 24x7 security managed service for thousands of clients globally spanning all industries and with a complex range of risk profiles and regulations.
I led strategic and tactical change including the launch of a new service offering and enhanced capabilities around automation and tooling.

Seconded into the North America division of a large bank as the Head of IT Risk and Cyber Security.
Leading as the senior SME for all regional and global projects, representing on change boards to assess changes from infrastructure level through to strategic, and acting as the liaison and interface with the UK as the regional lead for global initiatives.
Achieving alignment with Group/Global initiatives and security mandates, ensuring that regional challenges were understood, securing approval for localised approaches where required.
Led the delivery of services for vulnerability scanning, configuration compliance and penetration testing at a large bank. Including team management, change portfolio, and strategic supplier reviews including a team of 25 FTE.
Implemented alterative resourcing models to address skills gaps and maximise efficiencies, travelling offshore to work with third party vendors to establish service support and augmentation.
Managed the implementation of new tooling to expand the service and increase visibility of the attack surface, and expansion of the scope of services in recognition of the threat landscape.
Seconded into a small financial services organisation to design and support the implementation of an enterprise risk management framework, risk management policies and procedures.
Led the team to identify critical information assets, map out business processes, and adopt a structured approach to prioritising third party assurance.
