Challenge: The Bank’s systems and processes were holding their people back and hampering growth. The Board had been asked to support a three year transformation programme and required independent assurance.
Outcome: Board confidence to support the investment, risk reduction and outcomes accelerated. We didn't just bring skills, we brought a trusted relationship that provided ongoing assurance that the programme would deliver the outcomes and pitfalls were avoided.

Building Society
Challenge: The core banking provider informed the CEO that they were initiating a major cloud and platform transformation to deliver a more secure, resilient, supportable and future‑ready service.
Outcome: Technology was only part of the journey. We provided assurance that the architectural design and transformation approach were both achievable and fully aligned with regulatory expectations. We also identified opportunities to leverage improved value from the supplier.

Top 10 Building Society
Challenge: The Board had been asked to approve a significant investment in cyber security to support a new member engagement platform.
Outcome: We worked closely with the CISO and CTO as a critical friend, providing independent assurance of the two‑year cyber roadmap and confirming its alignment with the Society's strategic and operational plans, as well as demonstrating full traceability with regulatory requirements.

Specialist Lender
Challenge: The co-sourced internal audit service had lost credibility with Technology and Change stakeholders. Fees were increasing with little focus on skills transfer and value delivered.
Outcome: We reset the relationship, brought fresh energy, and focused on upskilling the in‑house team while integrating seamlessly into their ways of working. The team is now more confident and capable, and stakeholders consistently report meaningful value being delivered.

Building Society
Challenge: The regulator advised that scenario testing underpinning operational resilience required further maturity.
Outcome: We partnered with the CRO and COO to design and embed a multi‑year approach to developing and testing operational resilience. The building society is now conducting proportionate, severe‑but‑plausible scenarios that actively involve third parties and operational teams.

Insurtech
Challenge: Customer journey drop out following aggregator hand off. There was a need to rapidly improve positioning by introducing dynamic pricing, faster underwriting, next best action decisioning and automated claims processing.
Outcome: Our team provided fractional CTO support that upskilled an existing team member while also working closely together to deliver a new customer experience, back office efficiency and improved operational resilience.
